About

Designer who
builds things.

I'm Franz Pfitzer, a Digital Product Designer and Developer based in Stuttgart. I combine design, technology and product thinking to build intuitive digital products — from first sketch to deployed product.

I'm currently finishing my Bachelor's at HFG Schwäbisch Gmünd, alongside working as a Working Student in Process Optimization & AI Automation at Designpress GmbH. Previously I interned at Porsche AG in Weissach, contributing to interface development with interdisciplinary teams of designers and engineers. In 2024 I spent a semester at San José State University on a scholarship — embedded in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem.

Digital Product Design & Development

Expertise

01

Design & Development

I design and build digital products end-to-end — from Figma concepts and interactive prototypes to deployed applications. Using Svelte, React, Node.js, and MongoDB, I close the gap between how something looks and how it works.

02

Physical Prototyping

I build physical prototypes to validate concepts for connected systems and IoT devices, using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, 3D printing, Python, and C++.

03

AI & Automation

I design and implement AI-powered workflows and automation pipelines — from prompt engineering to process automation tools that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
