At Porsche's development center in Weissach, I was given a real problem: engineers were collecting vast amounts of data during vehicle test drives, but had no efficient way to analyze and compare it. My task was to design and build an internal benchmarking tool — end-to-end, from data pipeline to user interface.
This project required me to combine skills across the full stack: scripting for live data capture, backend architecture for structured data storage, and a web-based frontend focused on clarity and usability for non-technical users. I owned every layer of the product.
The core design challenge wasn't visual — it was translating highly technical engineering data into an interface that anyone on the team could use intuitively, regardless of their technical background.
Building a tool that gets adopted in a real engineering environment taught me more about UX than any classroom project. The feedback loop was immediate and honest.
